What I Look for In A Leader # 2

"What qualities do people at the grass roots and middle levels say they look for in a trusted leader?"

[2] Another quality I look for in a leader is one who has a servant's heart. Now I'm not talking about a person who outright serves me. I'm talking more about the attitude of the leader - one who doesn't believe he/she is above doing the very task they ask me to do. I want to be led by someone who will also pick up a broom, stack chairs and make copies. Does this mean I expect them to do those tasks? No. But I'm looking for someone who doesn't think they are too good for those tasks. I'm looking for someone who will get their hands dirty with mine. That's the kind of leadership I believe Jesus demonstrated.
