Hey, thanks for clicking the URL in my Twitter profile. Now that you're here, let me give you a little diddy of who I am.
My name is Todd Ruth. I'm the dude on @toddruth Twitter account. I currently live in South Bend, Indiana, with my wife, Jami, and our two children - Carter, a.k.a. C-Dawg, and Morgan, a.k.a. Little Mo.
I've worked with students and their families for over 10 years now (wow I'm old!). Right now finds me launching an urban student ministry with my brother-in-law, Matt, called Revolve. We launched this ministry in the late summer of 2008 to reach out to students who aren't currently in church, and who believe they don't fit what they think is the typical "church kid".
Revolve is simply about "helping students come back to Jesus." You can read more about what Revolve is doing at our site.
Interests
While I love students and student ministry, it's not the most important thing in my life. That deal belongs to my family. I have been married to my wife, Jami, since 1999. C-Dawg, our oldest child, is 4 years old. Little Mo, the girl with a big attitude, is two. I also love to read and work out. Geez, now this is beginning to sound like a bad personal ad.
The Hook Up
So that's about it. Thanks for visiting my about page - if you haven't already clicked that follow button on Twitter, don't for get to follow me so we can interact there. I'm also active on Facebook.

Hey brother. I wanted to drop a line and offer encouragement for what you desire. God bless you for hitting the streets and God bless you for knowing who comes first. It is hard to convince some others that when you look at your priorities it is ok to say "God, me, family, primary ministry, audience, church, secondary ministry...etc)
I run into many YP's that put the program first. That will kill you quicker than most things.
Anyway, time to step down of my XBOX and just say thanks.
Also, take care if you decide to take your ministry on tour. "Revolve Tour" may get you some funny looks. (lol)
God bless you and yours brother. I would love to check out what you do if I head that way. My wife says "Nobody lives in Indiana." But I disagree. I think it really exists and I just may have to prove it to her someday.
In Christ,
PBS

Todd,
Just noticed you following me on Twitter and decided to see "who" you were here. I am now following you too. It is exciting to me to read your story. I spent about half of my 32 years in NW Indiana in a small town named Knox and we still visit our family there several times a year. I am totally engrossed in your story and can't wait to read updates as you show the face of Christ Jesus to the lost sheep. I am currently located on the south side of Indianapolis/Greenwood area, let me know if you are ever this far south; I would love to pick your brain and share stories.
